Nadine Artemis: My fascination with plants started when I was a child. I would play for hours in the woods with plants. This joy was further developed in 9th grade when a book just fell off the library shelf into my hands as I was researching for the science fair.

Off grid living gives us an opportunity to reduce our dependency on the fragile and costly systems of energy supply.
